MENTAL FITNESS FOR REAL LIFE
You train your body to handle physical challenges.
But what about your mind?
Most of us have enough Mental Fitness for the everyday hills of life.
But when a bigger challenge shows up — a major change, pressure, uncertainty — stress takes over.
The problem isn’t the mountain.
The problem is your capacity to handle it.
Positive Intelligence® helps you build the mental strength to face bigger mountains with calm, clarity and control.

WHAT MAKES THIS DIFFERENT?
Most coaching focuses on your situation.
Positive Intelligence® focuses on the mind that reacts to it.
Because stress, doubt and overthinking don’t come from what’s happening.
They come from your survival patterns.
We don’t just talk about them. We train your mind — so the same mountain feels more like a hill.
You’ll start with a short Saboteur Assessment and a free Saboteur Discovery Session to understand what kind of survival patterns are running the show.

WHAT WILL YOU GAIN FROM THIS METHOD?
Better Performance
With a calmer mind, you think more clearly, stay focused, and make better decisions. Instead of reacting from pressure, you’ll choose your priorities and take action with clarity.
Stronger Relationships
As your reactivity decreases, you become more present and understanding. You’ll respond with more patience, empathy, and emotional balance—both at work and in your personal life.
Greater Wellbeing
Stress and mental overload decrease as you learn to observe your thoughts with curiosity instead of judgment. You’ll feel more resilient, creative, and mentally lighter.

FROM BASEMENT TO PENTHOUSE
Move from survival mode to clarity, calm and control.
Your Mind Has Two Floors
To understand Mental Fitness, imagine your mind as a house.
It has a basement and a penthouse.
Both are important.
The goal isn’t to get rid of the basement.
The goal is to move between the two — when the situation asks for it.
The Basement: Your Survival Brain
The basement is your foundation.
This is your survival system — the emotional, reactive part of your brain that keeps you safe when there’s danger.
When there’s a storm outside, you want a basement.
Over time, this space fills up with stored boxes: past experiences, unresolved stress, old fears, and limiting beliefs.
These boxes hold your history. Some are useful.
Some take up too much space.
This is also where your Saboteurs live — the automatic mental patterns that try to protect you by reacting with stress, control, avoidance, or self-criticism.
When pressure rises, the Saboteurs take over — and your reactions start running on old survival patterns instead of conscious choice.
The Penthouse Floor: your Sage State
Upstairs is the penthouse.
Light. Space. Fresh air. Perspective.
This is where your Sage operates — the more resourceful, intelligent part of your brain (your prefrontal cortex).
From here you think clearly, see possibilities instead of problems, stay calm under pressure, and make decisions with perspective and confidence.
This is where creativity, focus, empathy and good leadership live.
What Happens Under Stress
When your stress level is normal, you move easily between the basement and the penthouse.
Your survival brain and your Sage work together.
That’s healthy functioning.
But when stress increases, the water level in the basement rises.
And when the water gets too high, your Saboteurs take over, your thinking becomes reactive, the stairs disappears, and you lose access to the penthouse.
You’re not failing.
Your nervous system is flooded.
Mental Fitness = Learning to Lower the Water
In this work, we don’t just talk about your problems.
You train your mind with short daily Mental Fitness exercises that help you interrupt stress patterns and shift your state in the moment.
During our sessions, we also use simple body-based practices — including breath and yoga — to calm your nervous system.
These practices lower the internal water level.
So you can move between basement and penthouse again — and use the right floor for the right situation.
That’s Mental Fitness.
